Lessons are organized on an individual basis according to the ability, musical interests, and goals of each student. While there is a strong emphasis fundamentals and technique, topics are chosen based on the student's interests and input. I believe that progress can be made more easily and quickly if a person's musical tastes are respected and that any style can provide a starting point to begin attaining the basics of music. The most important thing to me, as a teacher, is to help people grow their interest and understanding of music of any kind.
I teach M-F 11:00-6:00 Lessons are $30 per 1/2hr , $55 for 1hr and are given weekly but I can be flexible for people with irregular schedules.
Instruments offered: Guitar, Violin/Fiddle, Mandolin, Ukulele, Bass, Voice, Piano, and more. I am happy to work with any kind of instrument for general music lessons, as well.
